Congratulations to the Year 11s. I have no doubt that these GCSE grades will be a stepping stone for the girls to succeed with confidence and pride in the Sixth Form and beyond. I am hugely grateful to my colleagues who have prepared the Year 11s so well. There are so many stand-out performances, including those who have definitely outperformed their own expectations and achieved grades which are the product of dedication and determination, the girls all thoroughly deserve their success!

Academic Excellence
Our Year 11s achieved a stellar set of GCSE results. An incredible 37% of all grades are Grade 9, making this the most common grade at Roedean this year and the best ever percentage of Grade 9s achieved. Among the many stand-out performances, 6 students achieved straight Grade 9s, securing an extraordinary 65 top grades between them.
Ready for Sixth Form and Beyond
The exceptional results are not only a reflection of hard work and determination, but also a powerful launchpad for the future pathways our Roedean girls will pursue. With 26 students awarded all Grades 9–8 and 15 students gaining nine or more Grade 9s, the cohort of 2025 is exceptionally well-prepared to embrace the challenges and opportunities of A Level study.
