Many girls choose full boarding, creating a vibrant community of over 260 girls on campus each weekend. From Friday evenings through to Sunday, the campus buzzes with energy and excitement, offering endless opportunities to learn, explore, and have fun.
Our weekend programme is thoughtfully designed to cater to every interest. Girls can enjoy cultural trips to London’s museums and galleries, take private lessons in sports such as horse-riding or windsurfing, or dive into creative pursuits like pottery painting and ice-skating. Seasonal highlights, including visits to the Christmas market near Brighton, ensure that every weekend is packed with memorable experiences. Full boarding is all about joining a dynamic, engaging community where every weekend is an adventure.
Weekly boarding is an increasingly popular choice for families in London, Sussex, and Surrey, offering the perfect balance between immersive school life and time at home. From Monday to Friday, girls fully enjoy the educational and co-curricular opportunities the school offers, returning home for weekends with family and friends. Weekly boarders are an integral part of the school community, receiving the same high standard of care, opportunities, and accommodation as full boarders.
Flexibility is at the heart of weekly boarding. For those living in London, the ‘Victoria Escort’ ensures a safe and seamless journey, with girls chaperoned on the short train ride to Brighton on Friday evenings and met at Victoria for the return trip on Sunday evenings. This blend of structure, support, and freedom allows weekly boarders to experience the best of both worlds.
Flexi boarding is the perfect way to dip your toes into the boarding experience or take full advantage of our exciting evening activities. As a Flexi-boarder, you can stay at school for up to three nights per week, with a dedicated bedroom in the boarding house to keep your belongings even when you’re not staying overnight.
This flexible approach allows you to gradually grow in confidence and independence, and as you move through the school, you may choose to board more often, sharing the experience with friends and spending extra time on your co-curricular passions. Flexi-boarders can also opt to stay over the weekend, subject to availability, to take part in special activities, trips, or events, making it a truly tailored way to enjoy all that boarding life has to offer.
