This past few week has been a whirlwind of excitement in the Futures Department, marked by two major milestones: A UCAS deadline and the announcement of Cambridge University decisions. These events are significant turning points in our students’ academic journeys, as they transition from years of dedicated study to securing places at prestigious universities. The influx of offers from top institutions has been nothing short of inspiring, and with all applications now under review, the anticipation continues to build as more students receive their well-deserved acceptances. The pace will only intensify in the coming weeks as universities complete their selection process, and we are thrilled to support our students every step of the way.

Roedean students have shown exceptional promise in STEAM disciplines (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics), with 5% of our year group securing Oxbridge offers in these fields. This achievement is a testament to the resilience, passion, and hard work of our students, who have spent years honing their skills and knowledge to reach this point. Their success is also a reflection of the unwavering support from our faculty, who continually strive to provide an enriching learning environment that fosters curiosity and innovation. Beyond Oxbridge, our students are also making waves in other prestigious institutions:

• Twinkie has earned a place at the renowned Architectural Association School of Architecture.
• Fola is being actively recruited by Ravensbourne University.
• Soyoung has secured a place for Biochemistry at King’s College London.
• Nivana has been offered a place to study Veterinary Medicine at Harper and Keele.
• Ingrid will be heading to the University of Bristol for Chemistry with Industrial Experience.
