Roedean has been recognised at the Education Choices Awards 2026, winning the award for Inclusive Opportunities in Art and Music and receiving a special mention for Working with Local Charities.
These achievements reflect the values at the heart of Roedean: creativity, community engagement, and a dedication to helping every student thrive. They are also a testament to the hard work of our students and staff, whose contributions enrich both the school and the wider community.
The award for Inclusive Opportunities in Art and Music celebrates Roedean’s approach to providing a rich and accessible creative education. Through a wide range of artistic and musical experiences, students can explore their talents, develop new skills, and enjoy the benefits of creative collaboration. The arts are a valued part of school life, offering opportunities that are both engaging and rewarding.
We are equally proud to have received a special mention for Working with Local Charities. Building strong community partnerships is an important part of the Roedean experience. Throughout the year, students and staff support local organisations through fundraising initiatives, and these partnerships foster empathy, social responsibility, and a greater understanding of how individuals can contribute positively to society.
Recognition in these two categories highlights the breadth of experiences available at Roedean and our focus on nurturing young people who are not only academically ambitious but also compassionate, creative, and engaged.
We would like to thank every member of the Roedean community who has contributed to this success. We are incredibly proud of these achievements and look forward to continuing to cultivate an environment where creativity and service inspire students to make a positive contribution to the world.
