The breadth of activity at Roedean is extraordinary, and our exceptional facilities are available for commercial hire when not in use by our students.

Roedean School Enterprises Ltd (RSEL), the trading arm of Roedean School, generates additional income for the School through a range of commercial activities and venue hire including events, filming, weddings, residential courses, and sports facility hire.


Perfectly situated on the Sussex coast, Roedean combines the serenity of a country location with excellent transport links, just 30 minutes from Gatwick Airport and an hour from London. Our unique location ensures we enjoy the best of both worlds: proximity to one of the UK’s most vibrant and dynamic cities and a sense of calm from our cliff-top setting between the edge of the South Downs National Park and the English Channel.

Our 25-metre indoor heated swimming pool is ideal for training sessions, competitions, and galas. With separate male and female changing rooms and large windows that flood the space with natural light and offer sea views, the pool provides an uplifting environment for swimmers of all levels.

Extensive Sports Facilities


Roedean offers first-class sports facilities to suit a wide range of activities and training needs. These include a floodlit, all-weather pitch, 13 netball/tennis courts, a cricket square, football pitches, and an athletics track. Clubhouse amenities, changing rooms, and on-site parking provide everything needed for tournaments, training camps, or regular club hire.

Theatre and Technician Services

Our fully equipped, 350-seater professional-grade theatre is perfect for West End-style productions, smaller performances, dance showcases, music concerts, and high-profile events such as awards ceremonies or keynote conferences. With capacity for audiences large and small, the theatre is supported by an experienced technical team and includes state-of-the-art lighting and sound systems. A bar and refreshment area, together with plentiful guest parking, complete the premium experience.

Outstanding Residential Accommodation

Our six luxury boarding houses offer comfortable, single-room accommodation with shared bathroom facilities and multiple communal areas for relaxation, including lounges, TV and games rooms. Each house is centrally heated for winter stays and can be supported by full dining services in our school dining rooms or within the boarding houses for smaller events. With free parking and easy access to Brighton, the South Downs, and the nearby beach, Roedean is a superb choice for residential groups, retreats, or residential training programmes.
