Since Year 7, I’ve attended the Roedean farm, caring for sheep, goats, and previously chickens and ducks. It’s taught me valuable skills in animal care, teamwork, and leadership! Since Year 10, I’ve been a senior farm prefect, working with Dr. Barrand to plan both daily tasks and long-term projects, which have been rewarding as I got to watch the farm develop!

What I enjoy most is how the farm offers a break from academics and time outdoors. Caring for the animals and reconnecting with nature is relaxing and rewarding. Whether developing skills or simply taking a pause from study, the farm has become a memorable and meaningful part of school life for me!
