Scholarship and Bursary informationAge-appropriate online entrance tests are taken in each of the following: English, maths, verbal reasoning, and non-verbal reasoning, puzzles & problem solving, and creative comprehension. Applicants will also have a short interview with a member of the academic team. Applicants based in the UK will be asked to sit their tests at Roedean. Those living overseas will sit their tests in their country of residence.
Applicants shortlisted by our Heads of Department will be invited to take part in a practical assessment in their area of specialism(s). Assessments will take place at Roedean for applicants based in the UK and for those able to travel from their residence overseas. Alternative arrangements will be made for applicants who are living overseas.
Roedean offers are made against entrance test results, interviews, and a current Head’s reference (for applicants attending a school in the UK).

Applicants will also sit a written test based on their A-Level choices. All applicants will have a short interview with a member of the Sixth Form academic team. Applicants based in the UK will be asked to sit their tests at Roedean. Those living overseas will sit their tests in their country of residence.

Assessments will take place at Roedean for applicants based in the UK and for those able to travel from their residence overseas.
