The School launched our fund-raising for Project 125 Moldova with a splash at the weekend – it was a riot of coloured paint, some running (mostly to escape people wielding handfuls of paint, rather than around the track!), and loads of laughter!

Following our hugely successful trip to Moldova in July, when 12 students and two members of staff taught English to over 50 Ukrainian refugees and underprivileged Moldovan children, this trip will be an annual event. On the last day, we visited an orphanage outside the capital city, and it had such a profound impact on the students who went, that we have pledged to cover 3% of its annual running costs for the next decade. This means that every year, as a school community, we need to raise £5000 for the next ten years. The enduring and sustainable nature of this support will have a huge impact, and it is a privilege to be part of such a transformational project.
