Taking part in so many different shows, swimming the Channel... these opportunities have helped me gain confidence and build resilience

“One of my favourite parts of Roedean is the Performing Arts Department. I’ve had the opportunity to take part in so many different shows, such as playing Captain Hook in Peter Pan and Miss Trunchbull in Matilda, and it’s really helped me gain confidence and build myself as a performer and as a person. I’m hoping to study Medicine at university, and so the academic and holistic ethos of Roedean has really helped me. I’ve also been able to take part in a relay team of six girls from Years 8 to 12 swimming the Channel, which was a great teamwork opportunity and helped me to build resilience. I’ll never forget it, and I’m so grateful for all the opportunities here.”
